This easy DIY round door hanger is cute and easy to make. If you find cute wrapping paper, you can use it to decorate with, not just for wrapping presents!
I estimate cost for this to be $12 so if you are selling for $25 a piece, that’s a 50% profit. It would be easy to make a few at a time and your laser cut outs can come from anywhere. This one today is from Dollar tree.
Supplies used:
- 15″ edge glued round pine (from Menards)
- Merry MDF cut out (from Dollar Tree)
- wrapping paper
- Mod Podge
- Glue gun or E6000 glue
- Paint

Paint the edges and half of the wood door hanger whatever color you choose. I’m using white acrylic paint.

I stapled a wire beaded with wood beads on the back as the hanger.

Trace half of the door hanger onto the back of your wrapping paper. I went half way up the round with the paper.

Coat the backside of the paper with mod podge.

Coat the half of the door hanger with Mod Podge too.

Apply the wrapping paper, make sure it’s level and centered and then add a good coat of mod podge on the top.

Once the mod podge is dried, take sandpaper and clean up the edges.

Glue your laser cut words on with your choice of glue; hot glue gun, E6000 or pin nailer.
