Dress up your flowers with a rustic box that’s the perfect size to hold them. This flower holder is super easy and quick!
This is a great “scrap wood project” too.
Start by cutting a 1×6 board into 4 pieces at 6 inches long.

Stand them up on their “sides” like shown below.

Fasten at each corner with a crown stapler or brad nailer using 1 1/4″ long staples/nails.

Two or three should do the trick.

Putty the nail holes, let dry and then sand smooth.

Cut a piece of 1/8″ or 1/4″ plywood at 6 3/4 inches square. Staple it on the bottom.

Paint or stain your choice of color. Here I stained it light gray and then dry brushed white over the stain.

To decorate with I set a glass jar inside of it, but you can also put artificial flowers directly inside of it too. If you have real flowers in water keep them in the glass vase because this box is not watertight of course.
Pin this to save for later!
