We all love a reversible sign! They make decorating easier and cut down on storage space.
This scrap book paper sign is perfect for transitioning to the awkward time right after Christmas, when you don’t quite want to take the decorations down but still want some Winter decor. January decorating is a hard time so let’s make it easier with this Let it Snow and Merry & Bright sign.
Supplies:
- scrap book paper- one Christmas themed, one snowflake themed
- Merry & Bright laser cut out
- Let it Snow laser cut out
- Super Glue and/or brad nailer
- 12×12 piece of wood/plywood, I cut a 12″ piece of edge glued pine from Menards
- Acrylic paint and/or spray paint
- Mod podge

I used spray paint for the wood lettering and acrylic paint for the wood board.

Paint the edges of the wood block.

Paint a small amount around the edges too. Do both sides.

Apply a healthy layer of Mod Podge on one side of the board.

Apply a good layer of Mod Podge on the back side on one piece of scrap book paper. Place the paper face up on the wood piece and use your hands to press and smooth down.

Cut away any excess paper that is overhang.

Take a piece of sandpaper to the edges, moving in a downward motion to clean up the edges.

Repeat on other side.

Apply some glue to the back of your painted wood lettering.

Place where you want it and secure with a few short brad nails or pin nails.

Pin it for later!
